There are three purpose built extra care schemes within Spelthorne, two in Sunbury and one in Stanwell.
The extra care units have self contained one and two bedroom flats within them . All have level access showers and wheelchair access. There are lifts to the higher floors in all schemes.
They have on-site care staff who provide care hours as required and identified by adult social care. Two of the schemes have a waking night staff and all have a scheme manager.

4 of which are used for our step down scheme supporting safe hospital discharge for a temporary period of up to 6 weeks.

Trained care and support staff are available 24 hours a day to help you. Care is provided by A2Dominion. Who will tailor your care based on your individual needs assessment.
Our extra care support could include:
- Help washing, dressing and using the toilet
- Help with medication

- Shopping, collecting your pension and helping you with your finances
- Pressure care, catheter and colostomy care
